For forty-three years, Ann Downing has been faithful to the call God placed on her life as a young girl to sing gospel music all over the world.  In the late 80's Ann's ministry expanded into the realm of speaking at the encouragement of one of her mentors, Florence Littauer, well-known author and speaker.  Being in music ministry full time, Ann continues to work each weekend in order to bring in the necessary funds to fulfill her ministry's budget.  At times, enough comes in, but many times, it does not, so outsider financial supporter has been a vital part of keeping Ann's music and ministry going strong.

Downing Ministries oversees three major projects in addition to supporting Ann's music/speaking career.  The "Ms. Lillie Project" formed in 2006 in tribute to Ann's mother to minister to nursing home residents in supplying them with Gaither Homecoming videos, dvd players, televisions, etc.  More information about this project can be found on the Ms. Lillie Project page.

Middle Tennessee Women's Retreat is an annual event that occurs in the spring.  The event began in 1992 as the dream of Ann and her husband Paul.  Downing Ministries supplements the registration fees paid by attendees to cover the expense of hosting an event of this caliber.  More info about this year's retreat can be found on Ann's Retreat page.

2007 has brought about a wonderful opportunity for Ann to host her own television show, "Reality Check".  Production began in April of '07.  While the show is airing on a few networks, we continue to seek opportunities for the show to air.  This expense is extremely large for Downing Ministries, but it provides an enormous opportunity to make a difference in thousands of lives Ann would probably never have the opportunity to reach.
