Hi there from AnnD
Hey fANNtastics,
How goes it with you today?  I'm starting this note as I'm finishing an iced mocha at Mickey D's...it was soooo gooood...waaaay tooooo many fat grams, carbs...whatever :).
 
We're about to shut down our laptops to go to the church for tonight's concert....of course by the time  you get this we'll be long gone from the church and back home hunkered down in my little hovel. 
 
We did have a wonderfulllllllllllll morning earlier at Havana Nazarene in this great state of Illinois (Lincolnland)...thank you, Pastor Buchanan and good good folks for being sooo nice and providing a terrific lunch at the Chuck Wagon Cafe.  Have y'all ever been to Havana?  Lots of history there...I mean Al Capone and cronies frequented Havana...it was once referred to as Little Reno, I understand.  Oh well, all the memory of Al didn't dampen the Holy Spirit's work this morning, I promise you!!! :). 
 
Fast forward, Monday night here...at home :).  And by the time you get this, it'll probably be Tuesday...is that ok???????? lol.  Seems a lot of "unfinished" businesses are floating around in my little world these days...anybody relate??? :).
 
Now, I can say what a good, good time we had at Calvary Baptist in Hillsboro, IL Sun. night.  I sure do wanna thank Pastor Hemken and so many nice people for a warm evening!  Have to thank Bonnie and Laura, too, they got things going!!! 
 
I enjoyed seeing some fANNtastics and "old friends" last night....Pat and Neil, John and Judy, a new friend Nena.  Makes me grin to see familiar faces out there!!! :)
MTWR Planning Meeting
We had an MTWR planning meeting Friday night and I can honestly say this is proving to be the most exciting theme we've ever had..."Experiencing Freedom Through Forgiveness".  What we'll be looking at the weekend of April 16 - 18 is how to forgive others, accept forgiveness from those who've asked for it, forgive ourselves.  And of course if there are any ladies there who haven't been forgiven of their sins, that's the greatest forgiveness to be seeking!!!   Brochures are going out this week (remember to let me know your mailing address if you have any doubts that you may not be on the list)...you can also go to my site and get some info right now.                                                                                                                                   Jackie Kendall

Would You Pray?

Can I ask you to pray about a couple of unfilled dates coming up?  And, just got a cancellation (last minute) that didn't enhance my day at all :).  I know in my head and soul that God never allows anything to come to a child of God that isn't in His will, but it takes me a year or two to get that into my WHOLE BEING :).   That's a wee bit of a stretch, of course, but you get the point, right??? :).  Again, it would be a huge encouragement to know you're praying!!

Gaither Vocal Band DVDs
As I close for this little visit with you, let me remind you of those new Gaither Vocal Band dvds coming out soon...Shar has info here again.  I'm hearing such wonderful reports of these GVB concerts with Bill, Wes, Michael, Mark and David...and I KNOW these dvds are gonna be "keepers" for me.  See, I'm a fan, tooooooooo!! :).
 
And thank you for your kind comments about my book released last year..."Skidmarks on the Road of Life". Click here to order.  I never dreamed it would have the impact that it's had on some folks' heart and life, I'll be real honest with you!!  Just please keep praying for the book to bring more and more precious souls to that place of recognizing the role their Abba Father God has played in their life...every day!!, would you???  Talk about the temptation to begin the "happy dance"...when realizing that nothing has been a hiccup to Him, no surprises, no mistakes??  Ok, let's do it!!!! :).
 
Sooooo, let me once again encourage you to join us in the chatroom for prayer time...we're there each evening at 9 p.m. central.  This isn't just a chance happenin'...it's a "worship chapel in cyberspace" as AnnieB refers to it...I think I got it right, didn't I, AnnieB???? :).
